Oh Friday, where have you been all week long? I have missed you. Come and stay for a while and lets avoid Monday, shall we?
Another long day has finally ended. I arrived at the school bright and early again this morning, even though I didn't have class until 12:20pm. I went in early today actually because I wanted to switch a few classes around before the deadline.
I decided to switch out of my math class after all. I switched to a lower class in order to prepare myself a little for the higher class. Maybe next semester.
I also signed up for a missionary preparation class. Even though the majority of the class will likely be male, post-high school, pre-missionaries, I'm actually really excited about it.
My schedule seems quite different now, so it's going to totally trow me off next week. It's all for the best though I suppose.
So I only had one class today; English. Class went well as usual, we discussed nouns, plural nouns, and pronouns. All review for me.
Quote of the day from class: "Well, it shouldn't be 'costs', right? Shouldn't it be 'costed'?"
Me: "....."
After class I went to the Salt Lake Temple and did some baptisms; very good as always.
I came home around 4:30pm, ate, showered, and my roommate and I met up with some friends from the ward to hear Elder Dallin H. Oaks speak at the Tabernacle. It was really good, he is one of my favorite speakers.
My roommate and I actually didn't have tickets and were hoping to get some when we got there, and sure enough a nice, older man came up to us and offered us two tickets that he was not going to use after all. Sweet!
Afterwards, the group of us headed to the Gateway and got frozen yogurt at a place that I had never been to before...(nor will I ever go again.)
It was alright, definitely not my favorite though. But, it's good to try new things, right?
Well that concluded our evening. It's nice to have a fun evening and not have homework to come home to... at least not yet.
