Day two back at school: awesome.
It's so good to be back at the business college; my classes are going really smoothly so far. I enjoy the teachers and the new students that I meet. The homework load isn't bad, but it's still present.
Today I had public speaking at 9:20am. Not too early. It was great to have a close friend in the class, and I always feel that even though I may not know anyone in the class, everyone seems to be so friendly and genuine. The subject seems interesting in the discussion and lecture format, but the part where I actually have to speak in public (hence the name of the class) worries me a tad. It will be good though, the teacher seems really funny and great and my classmates seem the same.
Afterwards we had our weekly school's devotional given by President Richards which was indeed most excellent and very crowded. A couple friends and I decided to watch the devotional from a different floor this week because of how full the main floor was. His message was incredible as always, just the same.
My roommate and I had our Doctrine and Covenants class together after the devotional. I love the Doctrine and Covenants! And I loved it even more when I learned that we were not going to have a quiz due each class period like my Book of Mormon classes in the past have done. :) It was great to see a few members of my ward in the class with us along with a few familiar faces. I have a good feeling that it's going to be a really fantastic class based on the mix of students and the great teacher.
Well, I'm done for the day as far as classes go. This semester I made my schedule such that I would only have two classes a day, except Wednesdays I'll have three. I like being able to come home and have time to study and work on my homework.
Tonight? Well I have some homework to do and a meeting to attend. Should be good. Especially because I can sleep in a bit tomorrow. No class till 12:20pm again. :)
