Another Monday.
I love Mondays actually; it's a new week and it's time to start off the school week fresh.
I came to school this morning, and what a better way to start my week off than to go to math class!
*Sarcasm*
After class I was off to the library to study and work on my homework, and then I went to my English class.
Don't you hate it when you come to class feeling like you are completely caught up and prepared and then the guy next to you goes, "Hey, how did you do this part of this assignment?" and that was the only one you didn't do?
Uggg sometimes I feel like I never get all of it done!
Well, I do my best, and that's the best I can do.
After class, I went home for the day. I talked to my dad on the phone; I love talking to my family on the phone. I miss them.
I came home, ate, and was out the door again shortly to see a friend at the school; I signed up for a tutor at the school to help me with my public speaking class.
(Giving a speech tomorrow, wish me luck!)
For family home evening tonight, my roommates and I all went together to the cemetery.
Kinda creepy.
We did a scavenger hunt.
In the dark.
In the cemetery.
And man is that place a maze!
It was super fun.
Afterwards as we enjoyed our hot chocolate and cookies, a friend invited me to play ultimate Frisbee with him and his friends tonight.
Sure! :)
I'm not very good at the game, ha, but it was still super fun.
It was a neat game; I had never played before (not to mention in the dark with a glow-in-the-dark Frisbee)
Once I was getting the hang of it and actually knowing who was on my team, the sprinklers went off! ha. So we had to move the goals around a little. No big deal.
But then during the game, as my friend was running to catch the Frisbee, he ran into another team member and fell.
Didn't seem like a big deal.
Until he said: "I think I broke my finger."
Ah! What do I do?
Another one of his friends offered to take him to the hospital.
He asked me to grab his phone and call his mom.
Oh gosh, can you imagine that conversation?
"Hey, you don't know me but I'm with your son and um his finger is broken and he is about to pass out and I have no idea where we are..."
Thankfully, he was able to pop his finger right back into place; it had only been dislocated.
*whew*
I'm glad he is ok. It was super fun to hang out with him too!
Overall, another very good Monday.
:)
