Up to the Canyon

I love Saturdays, because that means it's time to clean!
My mother would be proud of me.
I got up early this morning and took the trax down to our stake center to clean the building with our ward. I had a blast cleaning windows and interacting with our ward members. I enjoy working and serving with my friends; I feel like it really brings me closer to them.
I love working and cleaning.
Afterwards, I came home and cleaned my bathroom and the rest of our apartment. It feels good when it's all clean...
When I was done cleaning, I posted and sorted through my pictures. I cleaned myself up and took trax again down to the Plaza for a surprise party for a dear friend of ours. It was really fun to see her and to wish her a happy birthday.
I came home and I was going to do some homework.... but my naps always end up being longer than expected. :)
Later this evening, some of my roommates got together with some friends from the ward and we all drove up to the canyon for a bonfire with some others from the ward. So much fun! It took us a while to drive up there, but we went singing all the way and some of us were squished in the back seat. (I got to sit in the front, ha)
The bonfire was exciting and super fun. Some of us went and climbed some of the rocks behind us up the mountain a little ways.
I wasn't going to go at first, but I want to try new things. It was actually really fun to climb up with my friends and once at the top, to take in the view. I loved the stars and the smell of the trees. It wasn't too cold at all, surprisingly. And I loved talking and interacting with my fellow ward members and friends.
After the bonfire, we all crammed back into the car and drove back to our apartment and watched a movie.

I certainly had a blast today!
