"Monday Monday, so good to me, Monday Monday, it was all I hoped it would be..." (The Mamas and the Papas.)
I had another really great day; life is treating me well. I got up early for classes which went well today. I love learning; I feel like I'm doing well in my classes and that I am gaining much from my studies.
I came home and made dinner for a friend in the ward who was sick. My roommate and I went and visited with him.
"And now, for the sake of these things which I have spoken unto you—that is, for the sake of retaining a remission of your sins from day to day, that ye may walk guiltless before God—I would that ye should impart of your substance to the poor, every man according to that which he hath, such as feeding the hungry, clothing the naked, visiting the sick and administering to their relief, both spiritually and temporally, according to their wants." (Mosiah 4:26.)
I love doing what I can for others. Put me to work; I love to serve.
My roommates and I went to family home evening for a bit and then headed out to the grocery store. We picked up a few needed items and headed back home.
The four of us put on a chick-flick movie, washed our faces with special soap and masks, and painted our nails.
Girls...
Fact about me: I am not usually one to wear nail polish. Ever. I'm just not a fan of colorful nails or long nails; I cut my nails really short. Just do.
But,
my roommates convinced me to paint them this once.
Too many colors to choose from...
So my fingernails are light pink.
I can't stop looking at them.
I can't remember the last time I painted my nails, and I bet you that the last time I painted my nails, it was probably with clear nail polish.
True story.
I'm just a plain person; I don't wear a ton of jewelery, makeup, or nail polish...I'm feminine, but plain...
Anyways, we did our homework and I planned out the rest of my week.
Sent a bunch of emails out.
Picked out what I want to wear tomorrow.
(Which will probably change tomorrow anyways.)
And read my scriptures.
Another day gone by. Still so much to do...
