Blizzard

Today was perfect. I got up early this morning and got my self ready for school. A light sheet of snow covered the ground as I walked slowly through it in my heals.
Today was devotional day at the school, so I dressed up. Today was actually our last devotional day for the semester.
Once I got to the school, I checked my email and discovered that all of my classes had been canceled, except for my last class. I had decided to skip my last class in order to go to the airport with my roommate.
So I went to the computer lab and worked on some homework. I finished my last math test and passed it, so that means I get to sleep in on Mondays and Wednesdays from now on :)
I went to the devotional; which was most excellent. The speaker spoke about how to gain and maintain confidence through good study and sleep habits. Well spoken.
After the devotional, I met up with a few friends and we went out to lunch and then we went to the Temple. It was a really nice experience for me, I love serving there.
I came home, showered, and painted my nails with my roommates while watching 'The Office' (a show I do not typically watch.)
My roommate's flight had been canceled, so we all hung out together.
Fact about me: I don't watch TV very much; I love movies, but I'm just not a TV person...
Another fact about me: When ever I paint my nails, it usually doesn't stay on for very long before I take it off. haha I'm not a nail polish person either.
There was a huge blizzard that came through tonight. One of my good friends came over; walking through the door completely covered in snow.
After brushing all the snow off, two of my roommates, my friend, and I all watched the movie 'The 6th Sense."
Good movie.
Fact about me: I am not a fan of scary movies, however, this is one I do enjoy watching.
Probably because I am use to it...
When the movie was over, my roommates wanted to go play in the snow. My friend and I however, were perfectly content with staying inside where we could enjoy the snow from the window.
We made soup in the kitchen; dancing while waiting for the noodles to boil...
When my roommates came back in, we ate and then my friend and I pulled our coats on and walked through the snow over to a friend's apartment.
I do love fresh snow. It is so beautiful!
Too bad it's cold and wet, or else I would like it a bit better...
We had fun socializing with a few of our friends over there, and then he walked me home.
My roommates and I cleaned up and packed our things a bit for tomorrow. We are all leaving to visit with family and friends for Thanksgiving; I am so grateful I get to spend Thanksgiving with my family this year. :)
