I am so glad that this will be a short week of school! My Monday just got that much better knowing that I only have classes today and tomorrow, and then Thanksgiving break here I come!
Only a matter of time until you can REALLY listen to Christmas music and watch Christmas movies.
My rule is no Christmas stuff until AFTER Thanksgiving.
Well, I slept in this morning and I did not go to my math class again. I figured out that if I finish my last math test and if I pass it, I don't have to go to class any more. So I got up later and got ready for the day.
The snow was still on my front door step (and every where else to be quite frank) but I still made it to school on time. I came to the school and studied a bit and then I went to my business communications class.
After my class was over, my roommate had waited for me so we went out to lunch together at Costa Vida.
Oh Costa Vida, it had been too long.
Yumm.
There was a really great sun set so my roommate and I quickly drove home, grabbed our cameras, and drove up to the capital where we took a bunch of really nice pictures of the snow and up by the capital. I love spending time with my roommate; taking pictures and creating fun memories... and putting off homework ;)
When my battery died on me and when it got too cold, we went back home.
For family home evening tonight, we watched the movie "Home Alone." Such a great, classic, Christmas movie.
I still can't believe we were watching a Christmas movie before Thanksgiving!!
It was still fun though; I have many memories of watching that movie as a kid with my siblings around Christmas time...
When we came back home, a few friends came over. My friend and I watched the movie "Tremors."
You have to watch that every once and a while... haha.
Over all a great Monday indeed. Even if we did watch a Christmas movie before Thanksgiving...
