Happy Thanksgivin' Ya'll :)
I slept in a bit this morning and got myself ready for the day. Around 10:30-11am my older sister, her husband, and my older brother came over! The six of us all ate breakfast together. It felt so good to be with them. I just admire every one of my older siblings and my brothers-in-law. I'm grateful for the kind of people that they are and their examples to me.
We cooked and baked again this afternoon with football going on in the background.
Boys...
We laughed, shared memories, and expressed gratitude for one another and simply enjoyed one another's company all day long. :) I love them. I love having a big family, I wish all of my family could be together...
While we waited for certain things to cook, we played games and created more fun memories.
We prayed together, ate together, expressed gratitude together, cleaned the kitchen together, fell asleep on the couch (at least I know I did).
We watched a movie together. We watched "Star Wars 5" I love that series.
After the movie, we ate pie and other desert.
Gosh, I don't think I will be able to eat again for a while... :)
We played a card game together (of which I won four times in a row :)) and talked to our parents on the phone with the phone on speaker.
What a wonderful, wonderful day today has been.
I am so grateful for so many things. I love to reflect on the many blessings I enjoy and that the Lord continues to bless me with.
I said goodbye to my older sister and her husband; I think they will be coming over again tomorrow, but my goodbye to my older brother was a little more difficult because I don't know when I will see him next.
I sure love my family and I will always cherish my memories with them. I'm grateful we could spend the day together.
