Late Night Homework

I love those late nights working on homework, don't you?
Well, let me start from the beginning of my day.
I got up early this morning and was at the school bright and early for my first class for the day; public speaking. Today was the last day for the presentations of our informative speeches. I am so glad I had mine done and over with a week ago. After class, my good friend in the class had to do a make up speech, so I stayed and watched her giver her speech because she was nervous and wanted some support. She did a great job :)
After class, I went to the computer lab and talked with a few friends. I went to my next class; Doctrine and Covenants. We had a great discussion about sections 37 and 38. I just love the Doctrine and Covenants more and more as I read it.
After class, my roommate and I grabbed some lunch and then another friend and I met up to chat after my roommate had to leave for class.
She and I walked back to the school and I went to my mission prep class. We had such a great class today; we had two students pretend to be investigators and they sat up at the front of the class so that we - as a class- could teach them. They asked one question and then they would call on us to answer their question. However, we had to asses their questions with questions- we could only ask them questions. We were learning a teaching technique where one has to reason with questions, and then once the missionary and the investigator are on the same page, then us as the missionary can say:
Would you like to know whether or not.... is true?
Would you like to know how to find out?
Moroni 10:4.
So interesting. It was kind of frustrating to me, because I wanted to make statements and teach what I know, rather than ask them questions in order to build up to the teaching moment; if that makes since. I just wanted to dive into the scriptures and say "this is the answer." rather than say "Do you believe this?" or "What about this?"-using these questions to build up to the "Would you like to know whether or not.... is true?" etc.
When my class was over, I met up with a few friends and we went to the Temple together. Such a nice experience today; I sure do love going to the Temple. I am so grateful that I live so close to the Lord's house; what a blessing that is.
After the Temple, I headed to the school with my friend and I had tithing settlement.
Afterwards, my friend and I came back to my apartment and ate and waited for my other roommates to come home. Once everyone was home, we watched that CES Fireside on my laptop that we were unable to watch on Sunday due to technical difficulties. It was so good!
We chatted for a while longer and after my friend had left, I was about to crawl into bed when I remembered I had a paper due tomorrow!
:(
Good thing I'm good at writing papers. It was pretty simple, and I was able to write this particular paper really quickly.
Well, at least I get to sleep in tomorrow :)
