Alrighty let me catch you up.
Yesterday was such a long day. I got up early and went to my first class for the day. Math class again felt more off topic than on topic. Afterwards I had a break before my next class. I finished all my homework for the day the night before, so I didn't have too much to work on between my classes today. I usually stay at the school all day long on Wednesdays.
So I headed to the computer lab and worked on my public speaking speech, (which I gave today) I worked on the PowerPoint aspect of it.
My next class was my business communications class. We are giving oral presentations in that class, and I have to give mine on Monday; I have some time :)
After class, I had an hour and a half break before my sociology class. I ate lunch and worked on my sociology homework and then went to class.
Such a great class; we just finished reading the book 'Bonds That Make Us Free'; all I have left to read is the epilogue. Great book.
I came home and worked on my public speaking speech again with the help of some friends.
I felt so tired all day; I practiced my speech a few times and then went straight to bed.
Today I was up and early again-as always. I dressed up because I had to give a speech today and I was planning on going to the Temple later after my classes. As I was walking to the trax station, a car drove by, slowed down, and pulled over in front of me. At first I didn't know who it was, but then I recognized my friend from my stake! He just so happened to be driving by and asked me if I wanted a ride to school. So nice of him!
I got to school and made sure I had everything ready for my speech. I feel like it went well; I knew what I was going to say pretty well and my topic and organization was good. I did my informative speech on how to write a blog; how a blog effectively expresses yourself.
Pretty good topic if I do say so.
I got a B on my speech; not as good as I wanted, but fair enough.
I had a break before my next class, so I went to the commons and chatted with a few friends; again all my homework was done for the day so I was prepared :)
I went to my Doctrine and Covenants class where we discussed sections 30-34. Again I had another break between my classes (Wow, I love being prepared for the day and not having to work on things last minute haha what a concept.)
Next I went to my mission prep class where we again continued our discussion on how to handle objections. My teacher has such an interesting thought process; I enjoy his teaching style.
My classes were finally done for the day, yes!
I went to the Temple with a few friends and was able to do some family names. I had such a great experience while I was there.
Afterwards, my friend and I went out to eat and then he had to go to class and I went home. Before I left, he asked me if I wanted to go with him to the school's formal dance next weekend! :) I said yes, I'm really excited!
Ah, I love the end of the week when it starts to finally wind down... I don't have anything to do tonight. I think I might go to bed early! :)
